Founder & Head Trainer, CR Show Jumping
Carly Richardson feels at home on the back of a horse, whether it’s guiding a young horse through their first rides, or navigating a challenging track in a Grand Prix jump off. Her diverse background across both Western and English disciplines gives her a unique, holistic approach to training horses and riders. Carly began her career in Norco, California, where she built a respected training program focused on developing young horses, producing competitive jumpers, and coaching junior and amateur riders across levels.
With over 15 years of experience, Carly brings both depth and versatility to her work. She’s trained horses from the ground up, guided riders through their first cross-rail to national-level competition, and built a reputation for integrity, feel, and follow-through. Her philosophy centers around partnership, patience, and precision—whether she’s restarting a green prospect or refining an upper-level mount.
Carly was also honored as a recipient of the Michael Nyuis Grant, awarded to emerging professionals demonstrating excellence and potential in the sport. Her work reflects a deep respect for the horse, a love of continuous learning, and a strong belief in the importance of cultivating trust—both in and out of the saddle.
Now based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, Carly brings her signature training style and proven program to CR Show Jumping. The barn reflects her values: thoughtful horsemanship, individualized care, and a supportive, skill-building environment where both horse and rider can thrive.

Skyler manages the barn and shows with calm confidence, expert care, and a deep love for horses. Hannah, brings unmatched attention to detail and a quiet intuition that keeps our horses feeling and performing their best.

Skyler is the behind-the-scenes powerhouse who keeps CR Showjumping running smoothly. A talented rider, expert horse handler, and detail-driven barn manager, she brings calm leadership and deep care to everything she does—whether it’s prepping horses for the ring, managing show logistics, or making sure the barn is a place horses and people love to be. Known for her quiet confidence and kind presence, Skyler is always accompanied by her loyal sidekick, Spirit.

Hannah Gibbs
Hannah brings her sharp wit, steady hands, and genuine heart to everything she does at CR Show Jumping. Her calm presence, and deep commitment to the care and well-being of every horse in the barn is evident every day. When she’s not helping riders or managing the day-to-day rhythm of the stable, you’ll find her training her own horse, Grace—a partnership built on patience and perseverance.
